Access Parameters Message: Another key overhead messages received on the Control Channel is the Access Parameters message. It contains:
-The Preamble length which sets the length (in frames) of the access probe Preamble.
-The Open loop adjust which is the nominal power to be used by the AT in the open loop power estimate.
-The Probe power step (Power Step) which sets the increase in power between access probes in an access probe sequence.
-The probe num step which sets the number of steps (access probes) in a single access probe sequence.
-The Probe initial adjust sets the power correction that the AT applies to the open loop power estimate to adjust its initial transmission on the R-ACH (when transmitting the initial access probe in an access probe sequence).
