2.0 The Forward Common Channels

  • The Forward Link in CDMA2000 essentially consists of two groups of Physical channels: The Common Forward Channels and the Dedicated Forward Channels

  • The Forward Common Channels include the following:
    • The Pilot
      • Common Pilot
      • Common Diversity Pilot
      • Auxiliary Pilot
      • Auxillary Diversity Pilot
      • Dedicted Auxiliary Pilot (could be considered as Dedicated)
    • The Sync Channel
    • The Quick Paging Channel
    • The Common Control Channel
    • The Broadcast Channel
    • The Common Assignment Channel
    • The Common Power Control Channel
