Introduction by Dr. Simo
Hi, I'm Ernest Simo; founder and Senior Instructor of Space 2000.
Since 2003, I have been actively involved in the transistion of wireless communications towards an all-IP (Internet Protocal) environment. These are the early stages of the Fourth Generation (4G) wireless networks. I am now working with Verizon and Motorola to train wireless communications experts in the United States, Latin America and Asia Pacific in the area of IP-based 3G networks. These high-speed, multimedia wireless systems will be deployed throughout the United States by the end of summer 2005.
I am pleased to introduce our new 2 Day Seminar; S2K 1500 How WiMAX Really Works: Design, Implementation and Operational Considerations for an Enhanced Broadband Experience. View the detailed course outline here.
During the past three years, Space 2000 has sought to make our training resources more effective and available through the use of the cyber environment. Many of you are already familiar with our website, www.CDMAonline.com, as a Continuing Education resource dedicated to support of our live, instructor-led, seminars. We have designated the CDMA Interactive Distance Learning Center as a free instructional area, specifically to support and reinforce the live seminars, and to provide basic information and training associated with second generation (2G) and third generation (3G) CDMA Wireless Systems.
We invite you to make full use of these resources. We intend them to be your gateway to Advanced Wireless Communications Systems knowledge.
We look forward to seeing you in the classroom and on the Internet.
