

|  How Codes Work: Summary

Note that by synchronizing or "tuning" the receiver code to the phase of the incoming code c(t-Ti), the original data (shifted by the propagation delay) is now recovered at the output of the receiver.
In these examples, the data sequences and the code sequence have the same length (one code bit for each data bit). This manner of using codes is simply for the purpose of encrypting, scrambling and providing privacy.
