Simple Codes Concept: How Codes Can Be Used Let us consider the following steps or activities at a given transmitter location: Step 1 | An arbitrary data sequence di(t) generated by a digital source. Step 2 | Now generate an arbitrary Code sequence ci(t). Step 3 | Add these two sequences Modulo-2 (Exclusive-OR gate) as shown in step 3 above.
